1. How to Use the Webpage

1. (Optional) Select your desired Map Style from the dropdown menu.
2. Use the slider to set the maximum zoom level you want to download. You can press the "Show" button to see this zoom level on the map.
3. Click the "Select Region" button and draw a rectangle on the map.
4. Click the "Start Download" button.
5. (Optional) Check the "Overwrite existing tiles" box if you are downloading a new map style over a region you already saved.
6. Your browser will ask you to select a folder. This will be the main folder for your map tiles.

2. Using Tiles with Portapack

Once the download is complete, navigate to the folder you selected. You will see subfolders named by zoom level (e.g., "10", "11"). Copy all of these numbered folders into the /OSM directory on your Portapack's SD card.

3. Incremental Downloads

By default, this tool will not overwrite existing tiles. You can run the downloader multiple times for different regions or zoom levels, and it will add new tiles to your collection. This allows you to build up a large map over time without re-downloading.
